Where, When And How To Watch The 2021 Emmys

TV’s biggest night is right around the corner. After being on a year-long hiatus, the 73rd Primetime Emmy award ceremony is leaving the virtual format and officially going back to in-person. After having a virtual ceremony last year, any live interaction is welcome, but limited given the rise of cases due to the Delta variant. The Academy has partnered with CBS to create a virtual media center for the Emmys that will allow media outlets to connect directly with Emmy winners as soon as they are announced. The ceremony will honor and recognize celebrities in various areas of television and emerging media.

When: The Emmy’s will take place on Sunday, September 19 at 5 pm PT/8 pm ET. This year’s telecast will take place from the Microsoft Theatre with a limited audience of nominees and their guests. All attendees at the Emmy ceremonies will be required to wear a mask in the venue.

Where to Watch: The Emmy’s will be aired on CBS and watch the Emmy Awards live on TV.

How to watch without cable: For those without cable can stream the event through Paramount+, Hulu Plus Live TV, YouTube TV or FuboTV, or on

Who is hosting: Cedric the Entertainer (The Neighborhood) will host the three-hour ceremony. A long list of presenters will be at the Emmy’s this year such as Paulina Alexis, Anthony Anderson, Angela Bassett, Kate Beckinsale, Adrien Brody, Stephen Colbert, Jennifer Coolidge, Kaley Cuoco, Lane Factor, Beanie Feldstein, Allyson Felix, America Ferrera, Sterlin Harjo, Devery Jacobs, Ken Jeong, Mindy Kaling, Vanessa Lachey, Dan Levy, Eugene Levy, Jessica Long, Annie Murphy, Catherine O’Hara, Sarah Paulson, Amy Poehler, Billy Porter, Michaela Jaé (Mj) Rodriguez, Seth Rogen, Tracee Ellis Ross, Hailee Steinfeld, Patrick Stewart, Wilmer Valderrama, Kerry Washington, D’Pharaoh Woon-A-Tai and Bowen Yang. Done+Dusted and Hudlin Entertainment is producing the event alongside Ian Stewart, Reginald Hudlin, Byron Phillips and Ashley Edens. Hamish Hamilton will serve as director.
