E-NFTs, according to Emmersive Entertainment, a Vinco Ventures Inc. subsidiary, are the future of music streaming. In April 2021, rapper Tramar Dillard “Flo Rida,” David J. Kovacs, and Erik Hicks co-founded the company. They’re primarily focused on the development of one-of-a-kind augmented digital and physical tokens, as well as the expansion of the NFT market.
“Our ground-breaking E-NFT Emmersive Music Streaming Platform is a resplendent game changer and a paradigm shift,” Hicks says. “As a result, it provides artists and collectors with a unique opportunity to connect in the resale open market.”
E-NFT.com is a new streaming platform designed specifically for NFT music that allows artists to restore creative control while still ensuring fair compensation. With a $1 purchase price, it provides fans with cheap access to distinctive music by major performers. Emmersive Entertainment, is removing a barrier that many musicians face: fighting for years to obtain the rights to their own music/content.
On August 4th, 2020, they announced the first-ever music streaming NFT with the release of Tory Lanez’s new album “When It’s Dark,” as well as the accompanying app Lomotif, which is a competitor to Tik Tok and one of the world’s largest short form video platforms today. The E-NFT will offer streaming music and artwork via the Emmersive Entertainment App, which is available for both Apple and Android devices.
Emmersive Music collaborates with their artists to determine the pricing for their tracks, and they also give them 50% of all earnings — a historically high number when contrasted to today’s giant record label offerings.
“I couldn’t be more excited about our E-NFT platform because as an artist and entrepreneur, this is a dream come true,” Flo Rida comments. “This is unquestionably the next iteration of technology and creativity, and I’m glad to announce that Emmersive is pushing the boundaries of music and beyond to never-before-seen heights.”
On August 10th, “WHEN IT’S DARK,” a collection of seven original songs and seven unique art pieces, was certified platinum by the NFT music streaming platform after selling one million albums in a record-breaking fifty-seven seconds. In addition to the remarkable success, fans who purchased this limited-edition experience will be able to resell it for a profit beginning August 24th.
