Bringing the Latest in News Straight to Your Screen

‘Transformers: The Movie’ Is Briefly Returning To Theaters This September

The 1986 anime classic, Transformers: The Movie will be returning to theaters at the end of September and this is something you really don’t want to miss.

This is because Transformers: The Movie had an impressive array of Japanese animators on its production, not to mention that the origins of Transformers are Japanese anyway (courtesy of Diaclone and Microman).

So yeah, this is a classic 80’s anime and one that will look suitably wondrous on the big-screen.

As for this limited event Transformers: The Movie will be shown at theaters on September 26 and 28 respectively.

Handled by Fathom Events, you can go to their site and check whether the movie is showing in your area.

In addition, apparently anyone that goes to these two screenings will also be treated to “brand-new exclusive content”, whatever that means.

If you can’t make it to these screenings, then worry not. An all-new 4K Blu-ray was released recently and it’s suitably pristine throughout.

Anyway, if you grew up watching Transformers as a kid, then you can go through the trauma of watching Optimus Prime die all over again this September.
