Every New Movie You Can Stream On Netflix, HBO And Disney+ This Week

As we near the end of each month, there are typically less and less new movies to choose from on our favorite streaming platforms. And this week in particular is very bare, as services like Amazon Prime, Hulu, and Peacock won’t be offering up any new films.

But we do have Netflix, HBO Max, and Disney+ on the docket, and altogether those three streamers will provide us with 15 new movie options. This article will detail the projects receiving the most hype. And at the end, you can find a full list of all your options this week.

Blood Red Sky (Netflix)

I really envy anyone who hasn’t watched the trailer to Blood Red Sky. This mystery/thriller might not be for everyone, but the trailer builds to an incredible twist in the movie I did not expect—and might just hook you into watching the movie. Basically, a group of terrorists hijack an airplane, only to discover there’s a monstrous secret awaiting onboard.

Freaky (HBO Max)

The body-switching trope is re-introduced in Hollywood every few years. Most of the time the premise can feel stale and familiar—but that’s not the case with Freaky. In this horror/comedy, a 17-year-old girl in high school switches bodies with a serial killer. She then discovers she only has 24 hours to reverse the spell.

Ice Age: The Meltdown (Disney+)

Believe it or not, there are five movies in the Ice Age franchise—with a sixth one on the way (Ice Age: Adventures of Buck Wild will release in 2022). And this week, the second film in the series, Ice Age: The Meltdown, will make its way onto the Disney+ platform.
