Beyoncé Joins Michael Jackson, Paul McCartney In Billboard Record With ‘Break My Soul’

Beyoncé joined the elite company of Paul McCartney and Michael Jackson on Monday as the third artist in history to have 20 top 10 hits on the Billboard Hot 100 as a solo artist and 10 on the chart as a member of the group, with her newest song “Break My Soul.”

“Break My Soul” ranked No. 7 on this week’s Hot 100, which tracks the commercial success of singles between June 24 to 30.

The single became Beyoncé’s 20th top 10 hit as a solo artist; she also has 10 from her time in the group Destiny’s Child.

McCartney has 23 solo top 10 hits and 34 with the Beatles and Jackson has 30 top 10s as a soloist and 11 as a member of the Jackson 5s and the Jacksons.

“Break My Soul” is Beyoncé’s first solo top 10 hit since 2016’s “Formation” and her first overall since 2020’s “Savage” remix with Megan Thee Stallion.
